Traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi
As early as 6 in the
morning, I left from my cousin’s apartment for my Day tour in Abu Dhabi. Since
it was Friday, Dubai Metro would be open at 11 AM, so I took a cab going to
Dubai’s Central Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
Dubai’s Central Al
Ghubaiba Bus Station can also be reached by Metro green line. Visitors coming
from Airport Terminal 1 or 3 can take Metro red line, get off at Union Square
Station (intersecting station) then transfer to Metro green line and alight at
Al Ghubaiba Station.
Tickets are available at
the bus station (around 20AED). Bus leaves on time every 40 minutes from 6:20
in the morning until 11:40 in the evening. Travel time between the two cities
takes almost 2 hours. Foods and Beverages are available for sale at the bus.
Upon arrival at Abu Dhabi
Central Bus station, I went to Marina Mall Sky Tower wherein my Day tour began. I bought Big Bus ticket at 200 AED and after the tour I went back to Dubai.
