AT HOME IN PRAGUE
June 21 to June 23, 2015
Why Prague is so-called the City of a Hundred Spires? And why is it truly the heart of Europe?
For you to find out the answer, is to go and experience the city. Don’t forget to include into your itinerary when you are planning to go in Europe, especially if it’s your first time. It’s a must. really.
GET IN: I chose to go by train. Here is the link for train schedule and latest fare. >>>
RAIL EUROPRE Only 4-hour journey from Vienna to Prague.
GET AROUND: the most commonly used mode of transportation are TRAM and Metro
ACCOMMODATION: >>> PENSION AKAT, only 50 meters away from the nearest Tram and metro station.
ATTRACTIONS: One of the major attraction is the Prague Castle, that can be reach by Tram #22, stop at Prazky Station, but for me to walk is ideal since it was my first time in Prague. From the Charles Bridge, I followed the sign until I reached the Castle complex.
There are lots of people on Charles bridge, so I decided to go back the next day. As early as 6 in the morning, I arrived on the bridge and took many photos without bombers, then walk to the Old Town Square. During my walk, I visited with its iconic astronomical clock and apostles, the mystical Jewish Quarter, Wenceslas Square, Lennon Wall and the picturesque Town.
