ATHENA
June 29 to July 3, 2015
Greece is one of the popular tourist destinations, not only in Europe but in the whole world.
The capital city Athens is the heart of Ancient Greece. A powerful civilization and is one of the world's oldest cities.
GET IN:
by plane, by train and by boat, This time I flew with RYANAIR from Brussels. Upon arrival at Athens Airport, I took metro going to the city and get off at Acropolis Station, wherein my Hotel is located.
“Nagkamali pa ako ng pinuntahang paliparan sa Brussels. Kinailangan ko pa mag-taxi papunta sa isang paliparan na halos malapit na sa bahagi ng France. Ang pamasahe ay umabot sa 109 euros (mahigit kumulang sa 5,500.00 pesos)” 😓
GET AROUND:
During my stay I explored the city on foot but sometimes I took ATHENS METRO
ACCOMMODATION:
ACROPOLIS VIEW HOTEL <<< This hotel has a metro access and located in the historical center of Athens, with awesome view of Parthenon. The museum is also a walking distance.
ATTRACTIONS:
The 5th-century BC landmarks, including the Acropolis, ancient buildings like the colonnaded Parthenon temple, Acropolis Museum, National Archaeological Museum and more. I also visited the Temple of Posseidon in Cape Sounion, 70 km from Athens and 1-hr journey by bus.
