November 23 to 30, 2015
After exploring Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Russia is now one of my favorite countries in the world.
GET IN:
By plane from NAIA but there is no direct flight from Manila to Moscow, Russia.
I flew to Beijing, China (with my Chinese tourist visa) to board on S7 Airlines bound to NOVOSIBIRSK, SIBERIA, then fly to Moscow.
The 24-hour visa-free transit in China can now avail by Filipinos provided that your boarding pass to final destination was issued in NAIA or you have a confirmed ticket to leave China within 24 hours. You may call the Chinese Embassy to confirm your eligibility for transit visa exemption.
From Moscow to Saint Petersburg and return to Moscow, I boarded an >>> OVERNIGHT RUSSIAN TRAIN.
GET AROUND:
By Metro and walking
Moscow and Saint Petersburg Metro are famous for its elegant, cleanest and most efficient station in the world. Most of the stations are decorated with frescoes, marble columns and ornate chandeliers.
ACCOMMODATION:
Sorry. I forgot the hotel name. I booked it with my travel agent because I need an accredited hotel by Russian Tourism for my visa application. I far as I remember, those were good and pricey hotels.
